The best way to find your perfect fit is to try a few different styles and sizes. As you test each one, pay attention to how it feels while you talk, chew, and move around. A great fit stays securely in place and feels comfortable, even during everyday movement. It's completely normal to try a few before landing on "the one," so don't worry if it takes some experimenting.

Ear domes typically last about a month. 

If your ear dome becomes discolored or torn, it's time to replace it.

Ear domes should never feel uncomfortable or painful, but it's normal for them to feel noticeable at first. Just like adjusting to a new pair of eyeglasses, there's typically a 2-4 week transition period as you get used to feeling them in your ears.

Your ears are sisters, not twins. It’s perfectly normal for them to be slightly different sizes. In fact, we encourage you to try different dome sizes in each ear to find the most comfortable fit for both.

The Audien Dome snaps on to your Atom Series hearing aid just like any earbud you may have used before. You might hear a soft click when it’s on and firmly connected. Be sure it’s securely attached by gently tugging on it. 

To insert your dome properly, gently pull your ear up and back to straighten the canal. Since ear canals naturally slant slightly downward and inward toward the nose, aim the dome down rather than straight in. You'll know it's in place when the sound is full and the dome feels secure.

Wax guards are filters located where the sound comes out of the hearing aid. They protect the speaker from earwax, moisture, and debris, preventing buildup from affecting sound quality or damaging the device. Over time, the wax guard can become clogged, causing the device to sound weak or stop working. Replacing the wax guard regularly helps keep your hearing aid performing at its best.

First, remove the dome from your hearing aid. Using the removal end of the replacement tool, pull out the old wax guard. Then, flip the tool around and press the new wax guard into the same opening. Pull the tool straight out and the new wax guard will stay in place. Finally, reattach the dome.
